The Parenting Alpha Course at Fort Alliance Church
The Parenting Alpha Course is a welcoming and practical space for young families to grow together, connect with others, and be encouraged in the journey of parenting. Created by Alpha and trusted by churches around the world, this course offers real tools that help in everyday family life.
This course is for any parent, step parent, prospective parent, or caregiver of children ages zero to ten. Whether you are parenting on your own, as a couple, or in a blended family, you are welcome here. No previous experience or church background is needed. Come as you are.
Across six sessions, parents will explore how to build strong foundations, understand their children’s needs, set healthy boundaries, develop strong relationships, and think intentionally about the future of their family. The heart of the course is not only learning, but doing it in community with other parents who are in a similar season of life.
What to Expect
Each evening is designed to make life easier for busy families and to create a relaxed, welcoming environment.
We will serve supper in the foyer from 6:15 to 6:30 pm. Soup and buns will be provided each night. After supper, children will head to Kids Ministry for a fun and engaging program, while parents move to the sanctuary where the course takes place. Parents are welcome to continue enjoying their meal as the session begins.
Each session includes short video teaching, practical insights from parenting specialists, real stories from families, and guided conversations around your tables. Our goal is to create a calm, encouraging space where parents can learn, share, and build meaningful connections.
Important
This is a six week commitment. Spots are limited, and we ask that families commit to attending all the sessions so the group can grow and learn together.
On March 20, we will finish the course with a Spring Family Night celebration. This will be a special evening to wrap up the journey and enjoy time together as families.
