Prior to coming to Fort Saskatchewan my life and ministry has been shaped by work in heavy industry, pastoral ministry in B.C and Alberta and church planting efforts in Southeast Asia.
In and through those experiences, I have been captivated by a scriptural dream that both the truth of who Jesus is and His living presence in us must shape us, satisfy us, indeed compel us to an endless holy thirst for more of the living Christ.
I love our church; to serve among a fantastic staff team is a highlight for me.
As for leisure? It’s all about family, football, reading, Volkswagens, and Starbucks.
I love being a part of the Fort Saskatchewan Alliance Church family. I believe that Jesus is moving among us in a real way. I'm so thankful and excited about that. I work closely with Pastor Nori to lead the church. I love the big picture and strategy. My prayer for you is that you will love God with all of your heart, mind and body. I really think that can happen to real people in real ways.
Football is a real passion of mine. I cheer for a green team from another province! My family means so much to me. Coffee anytime, anywhere makes me happy too!
Grace, beauty and joy...
This sums up my life as a whole. Grace to be known and loved by God from no merit of my own; beauty, because I have a wife, son, and a little peanut on the way that fill my life with wonder and gratitude; and joy because I get the privilege of announcing the best news in the world and shepherding the church in worship.
I was raised in a unique Christian home by a Catholic mother and Lutheran father who were awakened from dead religion into a life of faith in God. The Lord took hold of my life in my twenties and I have not looked back.
Likes? Anything C.S. Lewis, travelling, epic movies, dill pickle popcorn, mountains, sports, reading, and any adventurous excursion involving wheels over long distances.
Having grown up as a pastor's kid I originally rejected the idea of being involved in pastoral ministry. God began to transform my heart and desires during 3 years at Bible School and later affirmed that He was in fact calling my wife and I into pastoral ministry.
I love working with youth. Young people are so passionate and full of potential! My desire is to come alongside the youth, partnering with parents, to direct that passion and potential into a life lived fully committed to our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.
I also share many interests and hobbies with the young people I have gotten to know, which is another reason I love interacting with youth. My "Fav 5" hobbies are: Drumming, Disc golf, Photography, Hockey and Basketball
What a blessing it is for me to be a part of our church family here at Fort Saskatchewan Alliance Church! Since I was in Jr. High the Lord has placed within my heart a love for His church and a calling to serve Him in vocational ministry. I can't imagine being anywhere else!
I love the Lord dearly and have a strong desire to see others grow in their love for Him as well! It is a privilage for me to be on the team as the Pastor of Children's Ministries. I believe with my whole heart that at whatever age we may be, the Lord desires to speak to us and transform our hearts for His glory.
I love to spend time doing anything in my kitchen; cooking, baking, even cleaning! I love reading, being outside, shopping and spending time with my family and friends!
I have been a Christian since 1994, baptized through water immersion that same year at the age of 16. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, I traded in my strappy sandals for warm winter boots 13 years ago when I moved to Edmonton, Alberta.
My husband Curtis and I, along with our two beautiful children Charis and Aidan, have called Fort Saskatchewan home since 2008. Since that time, I have enjoyed serving on the FSAC team as the Financial Administrator using my attention to detail and organizational skills for the advancement God’s kingdom.
I have been blessed immensely with a loving church family and Christ-centered team to work with. God is continually stretching and molding me, in my personal and professional life, as I strive to be more like Him.
Fort Saskatchewan Alliance has been my home church for the past 30 plus years since moving to this community. I value the impact it has had on my life and treasure the friendships I’ve made here.
It is a privilege to be part of team whose focus is Christ-centered and who truly cares about the people within our congregation and who desire to extend this same care to those in our community.
Home, where I can bake and cook, and spend time with those closest to me, is where I love to be.
