The title Life Together is borrowed from Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s classic work Life Together, which was written during wartime Germany WW2. Bonhhoeffer was the closest of any church theologian to stress the importance of marrying the reality of community and individual, which is summed up in his dissertation Sanctorium Communio (Communion of Saints) where he writes concerning this, using the term collective person. So here, we will build on the foundation of adoption and the collective person to establish who we are spiritually and sociologically, while the rest of the purpose of Life Together will be fleshed out more pragmatically as we seek to explain what we are to do and experience such as being a commissioned, loving, deep culture community, an electric community, and anointed, wartime community. The vision is to unite foundation and experience as seen in Scripture.
