Deliberate preparation for the Easter season is vital to lead our souls into a full orbed experience of the historically brief, shallow worship of Palm Sunday, the betrayal, the almost-deadly stripes that provided our healing, the tearful Via Delarosa, and the mind-numbing finality of the Cross with the entire experience reaching an emotional apex in the staggering joy of the resurrection. Therefore it is our desire to press into the Easter season with intentional readiness to hear, to listen, to see, to feel, to experience everything we can from our great Savior. To dive into all that God may have for us by lingering at the cross; pondering deeply the seven times the Savior spoke while hanging on the machine of death.
