Camp SONshine

Outrigger Island

Camp Information

We are so excited to have your child(ren) take part in Camp SONshine!  Our theme this year is “Outrigger Island: Living God’s Unshakeable Truth!”

Our Program is open to all kids entering grades 1 through 6, without exception.

For the Full Day Camp Only: The soccer camp will run in the mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 and “Outrigger Island” will run in the afternoons from 11:30 to 3:00.  The lunch break will take place from 11:-11:30 so children will need to bring a NUT-FREE bag lunch.  This is VERY important.  There is a great need for sensitivity to children with allergies.  We want parents to be able to trust us with the safety of their children, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

For the Half Day Camp Only: Your child will not need to bring a lunch as the camp ends at 12:00pm.  The children will be provided with a morning snack.

To pick up your child at the end of the day, please go to the church’s lower level where your child will be waiting with their leaders.  If your child(ren) will be biking or walking home, please include a note with the registration form.

Please make sure your child(ren) has proper clothing for the camp, keeping in mind that they will be outside for much of the camp.  All children should wear closed toe shoes and should bring a water bottle.

Camp SONshine is completely free.  All you need to do is fill out the registration form and return it to the church office by July 25th or fill in the registration form online below.  Please do not hand in the forms unless you are certain your kids will attending.  However, if something should change after they have registered, please notify us ASAP so that another child can benefit from the space.  You can contact Natalie McIntyre or Larissa Stroud at the Alliance Church (780-998-2485) if you have any questions or concerns.

We look forward to meeting you and your child(ren) at

Ministry Expansion

Ministry Expansion Project
What an exciting time in the life of Fort Saskatchewan Alliance Church and Christian School as we begin “Our Vision to Grow” campaign.

Today, as in the past, our goal is not to acquire lands or build buildings, but to expand a thriving ministry.

They have been married since May 12, 2001. Craig works with the Junior High, Senior High and Young Adults at Fort Saskatchewan Alliance. Natalie McIntrye - Pastor of Children’s Ministry

Natalie McIntyre has served at the Fort Saskatchewan Alliance Church since May 2003 in mainly office administration and children’s ministries. Her role has changed over the years and she is now Pastor of the children’s ministry programs with the support of Silvina Papavero and a wonderful volunteer team. Natalie graduates from Taylor University College in April 2007 and will continue her studies at the University of Alberta, working toward a degree in Elementary Education. Natalie loves teaching children about the wonder of God and believes that children have the ability to impact their generation in a way that will bring many people into a relationship with God. It is her prayer that God will allow this ministry to raise up Christ centred leaders who will carry out the call to love God, love others, and share Jesus with everyone around them.

Larissa Stroud - Director of Youth Ministry’s

I’ve attended the church most of my life but have just recently taken on the role of Director of Youth Ministries. In the past I worked part time with both Craig and Natalie in youth and children’s ministries. I am enrolled at Vanguard College currently in my third year of my Bachelor of Arts in Theology majoring in Youth Ministry. This is where I met my husband Terry, he and I were married on May 12, 2007. I am extremely excited about youth and the direction it’s going. I’m looking forward to an awesome year working with both Jr. and Sr. high.
