Latest Update:

Feb 10, 2012

February 3-4 was the second district meet hosted by Vauxhall Mennonite Church, in southern Alberta.  We had a great weekend away and enjoyed great hospitality by the Vauxhall church.  After the meet, we had supper (boy do those folks know how to cook!), a second worship time and a social.

The Fort Sask team did very well.  Team 1 made it into championship finals and finished the day in 3rd place.  Kyle Sinclair placed 1st overall in championship division, and Shamus Westra placed 3rd in championship as well.  Tanner Panchyshyn placed 3rd in Consolation division.  Our rookie team also did well with every rookie jumping and answering questions correct.  Rookie Jason Helm jumped and got his first question at a meet, liked it, so kept on jumping and getting more.

Special thanks go out to our families who made the trip to Vauxhall.  Every quizzer had family cheering them on at the meet.  The support to their quizzers each week means so much and helps encourage the youth to keep on learning and memorizing God’s word.
